The Yang Lab of Computational and Systems Biology at Rutgers University studies how cellular states and interactions shape human disease and therapeutic response. We integrate single-cell and spatial multi-omics, computational and quantitative modeling, and experimental approaches to uncover the molecular and spatial organization of complex tissues. Our work spans cancer immunology, immune engineering, and neurodegenerative disease, with a particular interest in translating discoveries from human tissues into mechanistic understanding and new therapeutic strategies.
